Novitas has once again been entrusted to lead the training strategy for a global brand's SAP S/4HANA transformation.
Novitas was engaged as training partner for the programme, bringing Novitas Plus, our framework combining instructional design expertise with AI-enabled accelerators to support speed, consistency, and quality at scale, to shape the training strategy from the outset.
"Being trusted to shape the training strategy for a programme of this scale is a significant milestone for Novitas,"
says Eric Plunkett, Managing Director.
"It's strong validation of the Novitas Plus approach, helping global organisations move faster without losing quality or control."
The Engagement
The engagement covers the early strategic phase of the programme's training workstream. As part of this phase, Novitas is:
Developing the training strategy and readiness framework
Aligning training with the programme's wider implementation roadmap
Setting the governance model, assumptions, and success measures that will guide the training approach
Reviewing the learning technologies and digital adoption tools available to support the rollout
A later phase will focus on a detailed Training Needs Analysis, setting out role-based learning requirements and delivery approaches for the programme's initial release.
Approach
Training strategy is being set early and aligned with the programme's change management, deployment planning, and governance from the outset, rather than developed separately and folded in later. The aim is a training approach that can adapt as the programme moves through later stages.
This kind of early alignment is often where large-scale training programmes come unstuck. When training planning happens in isolation from the wider transformation, gaps tend to surface later, in scheduling, in ownership, or in how well the training actually reflects the processes people will use day to day.
Building the training strategy alongside the programme's core planning workstreams from the start is intended to reduce that risk and give the approach room to adjust as scope and timelines develop.
What Comes Next
The engagement builds on Novitas' role as the programme's strategic learning partner and reflects the level of trust placed in the Novitas Plus approach. As the training strategy takes shape, Novitas will continue working closely with the programme's leadership team and delivery partners.
