Novitas Delivers SAP Fiori Inventory and Costing Enablement

Novitas supports global pharmaceutical company with their continued adoption of SAP S/4 Hana with Finance Training. 


The programme was designed to build practical capability across inventory, costing, analytics and reporting, while supporting the organisation’s continued adoption of SAP Fiori.

Building practical SAP Fiori capability 

Moving from traditional transaction-led working to SAP Fiori requires more than an introduction to a new interface. 


Users need to understand which applications support their roles, how information connects across processes and how Fiori can improve day-to-day analysis and reporting. 


The programme therefore focused on practical business activities, including: 

  • SAP Fiori navigation and reusable reporting views 

  • Inventory visibility and material movement analysis 

  • Product and actual costing 

  • Period-end costing activities 

  • Work in Progress, variance and settlement analysis 

  • Embedded analytics and management reporting 


Connecting learning with real work 

Guided demonstrations and exercises were used to connect SAP Fiori functionality with relevant inventory, costing and reporting tasks. 


Participants applied filters, drilldowns and reporting views to investigate information and interpret results. The learning also followed the wider period-end costing process, helping users understand how inventory movements, standard costs, actual costs and settlement activities connect. 


This role-based approach kept the programme focused on how SAP Fiori supports real operational and financial responsibilities. 


Supporting continued adoption 

The programme also explored where SAP Fiori could replace or complement familiar legacy transactions. 


This helped participants consider how Fiori applications and embedded analytics could support more consistent reporting, improve access to information and reduce unnecessary reliance on established transaction-led processes.
