Global Pharmaceutical company engages Novitas to develop two eLearning modules to support their strategic sterility assurance efforts and to transfer complex biopharma knowledge to a wide group of biopharma employees and to standardise knowledge and processes across multiple manufacturing sites.
The eLearning modules are aimed at upskilling employees across two sites on the types of micro-organisms that cause contamination in finished drug product.
The aim of the programme is to deepen employees understanding of how their actions individually contribute to controlling contamination levels across manufacturing sites. Initiatives such as measuring bioburden levels, designing processes to reduce levels of contamination, and focusing on behavioural actions such as gowning, or cleanroom etiquette were shared as critical success factors.
The course design included text, visual images, animated video content, voiceover and assessment elements for a professional look and feel. Overall, both eLearning modules provide a platform to transfer complex biopharma knowledge to a wide group of biopharma employees and to standardise knowledge and processes across multiple manufacturing sites.
